Interstellar

Interstellar was by far my favorite film the entire semester. The fact the movie was scientifically accurate was scary but really brings to light the time-sensitve matter of climate change and what could happen if action is not taken soon. What I would be interested in is if the entire movie as a whole was just a dream or hallucination because the directors never make it clear. The wall of library and books is what separates Murphy from her dad when he leaves to try find a new planet. The one planet they visited that had water depicts what the earth could look like in a few years and the place where he came from represents how our earth could become scorched.

Making the short film was a fun and creative way to try imagine our future. Coming up with the skit and performing it while including all our majors was difficult at first but at the end of the day came together nicely. Although this wasn't my first video, acting out-project, this one presented new problems as we had to use the minimal resources we had since we were at college and don't have a lot of props. So it took calling friends and piecing the parts together to make it as believable as possible.
